I received a BS in Business Administration from Cal Poly State University, San Luis Obispo in 1991. After working a couple of years in Human Resources as a Trainer, I earned my Multi Subject/Elementary Education and Special Education Credentials
Anything outdoors: biking, hiking, camping, rock climbing, going on adventures and visiting as many National Parks as possible! I enjoy cooking meals for my family, working out and practicing yoga. I love spending time with my family.
I love Shel Silverstein’s poetry and Eric Carle’s illustrations. I love reading historical fiction books that make me feel like I am living the story in another part of the world.
Reading, writing, math, history and art were my favorite subjects!
I traveled to India, Nepal and Tibet with my husband before beginning the adventure of having kids. For our honeymoon, we traveled to Alaska where we backpacked not far from the Arctic Circle to watch the elk migrate, fished for salmon, and kayaked next to amazing glaciers. I am looking forward to each new day where we can experience new adventures my family!
