Pacific Marine Mammal Center

Pacific Marine Mammal Center inspires ocean stewardship through animal rescue and rehabilitation, marine mammal research, STEM education programs, and advocacy for a healthy ocean.

Join us for Pacific Marine Mammal Centers’ most popular field trip! Students receive an introduction to the Pacific Marine Mammal Center and learn how marine mammals are rescued and nursed back to health in order to give them a second chance at life. Students will be thrilled to attend this extraordinary trip!

Ticket Purchase Includes:

  • Program: Marine Mammal Rescue, Rehabilitation & Release
  • 1-hour Docent-led visit
  • Multimedia presentation which Includes:
    Common patients at PMMC
    How and why animals are rescued
    What it takes to get them healthy again
    When and how mammals are released back to their ocean home
    Threats to marine mammals and ways to be good environmental stewards
    Questions and answers

Important Information:

  • Late registrations or refunds will NOT be processed after the closing date. No Exceptions.
  • Special Guidelines: No use of Membership or Season passes. Space is limited; first come, first served. 
  • Open to all grades: TK-12th.
  • Toddlers age four and under are free; No need for their registration. 
  • Tickets are needed for all guests ages five and above
  • Duplicate orders for the same field trip on one student’s account will not be allowed.
  • Note: If you have multiple Homeschool students, each Homeschool student must be registered for all Field Trips using their designated flex fund account. 
  • A registered adult must accompany all Students
  • Group Size Limit: 35 individuals per venue regulations.

  • Field Trip Photography Disclaimer: Be advised that photographs will be taken at this event for possible use on the Springs Charter Schools website, marketing materials, and all other SCS publications. Please notify the Field Trip Coordinator if you want to avoid being photographed.

How to Cancel: Forward your registration confirmation email receipt to carmelina.rosales@springscs.org with a detailed notation to cancel by the deadline date indicated on each field trip.
