I have my Associate degree in Exotic Animal Training and Management and after working for the movie industry, I went back to school and graduated from Azusa Pacific University with my Bachelor degree in Human Development in 2002, and then my Master in Teaching in 2004.
I love to do anything outdoors; hiking, kayaking, camping, adventures! I crave seeing new places. Spending time with animals is also a top priority for me, I have dogs and alpacas that I enjoy daily.
I love books about farming, gardening, cooking, and caring for animals. Whimsical stories by Neil Gaiman are also a favorite. Of course I love children’s books that I get to read to my little boy, anything by Stephen Kellogg gets my vote!
I was an athlete and musician when I was a student, so my favorite subjects were PE and Instrumental Music!
I’m a bit of a daredevil so I’ve enjoyed skydiving, being stalked by a tiger (although that was scary), and have ridden countless roller coasters. I enjoy unique happenings in life and I think one of the most interesting was when I was walking a purple, Standard poodle, down the streets of Los Angeles! My motto: Chase the Sun!
