Brianna has been in the Keys program all four years of her high school experience. She shared that Springs has given her the opportunity to succeed as an independent learner, excel academically and enjoy a comfortable learning environment.

The nine who attended are unique to Springs in that they are the only AVID site team supporting the only AVID Springs program.

Vetsy Espinosa, an 11th-grade grade student with Springs’ Keys College & Career Path Program, was recognized as one of 25 “Most Remarkable Teens” for 2023 by the Riverside Youth Council, a youth program coordinated by the Riverside mayor’s office and police department. The award honors her for “excellence in academics, athletics, arts and culture, community involvement, leadership, courage to overcome, acts of valor” and other noteworthy accomplishments. Vetsy was honored at a Riverside City Council meeting in May.

They heard presentations from professors in four different areas: fashion design, automotive, transit electronic bus, and technology & AI.
