Maxwell Chan, a 12th grade Homeschool student at Springs, has been named a Murrieta Chamber of Commerce Student of the Month for December 2016
He was chosen, said his Education Specialist Erika Nevares, because he is “well-rounded with work in robotics, computer programming, and Kung Fu.” He is also strong academically, and is currently taking three classes at a community college. Ms. Nevares continued, “One of the wonderful contributions that Maxwell is bringing to the community is that his interest in computer programming has led him to teach computer programming to other students, both young learners and college students.”
