Forty Homeschool and Academy students participated in District History Day. The theme was Exploration, Encounter, Exchange in History.
The winners included:
Senior division
1st place – Rafael Ibarra, Temecula Student Center
2nd place –Katelynn Jenkins and Karl Zieber, Temecula Student Center
3rd place—Josh Hermann, FAPA
Junior division
1st place—Santiago Zuniga, Homeschool
2nd place—Agatha McIntyre, Homeschool
3rd place—Cameron Quijada, Logan Pinchback, Aiden Raymond and John Yarbrough, Murrieta Student Center
Elementary division
1st place—Dallin Bennett
2nd place—Peter Cozzitarto
3rd place—Audry Thompson
All 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners will go on to the Riverside County History Day event on March 12.
