A Day at Renaissance Real World Academy

Although we are a public school, Springs Charter School is unique in our educational approach and in the courses we offer to our students.  From the first day they arrive to the day they graduate, Mentor teachers encourage and support students along their journey to find their purpose and success in life.  RWA combines creative options such as Road Trip Nation, Internships and Career Technical Education electives with academic rigor to prepare students for college and the world of work.

A typical day of a 9th grade student includes:

RWA incorporates CTE (Career Technical Education courses), Internship (real world experience), and Road Trip Nation (career exploration program) into the core curriculum.  Mentor Humanities teachers begin with our 9th grade students and continue with their Humanities students through 12th grade.   Learning Plans with teacher, student and parent occur at the beginning of every semester and students present their Exhibition of Learning at the end of each semester.  RWA is focused on the personalized growth of each of our students and provides support to reach their full potential.
