Graduation 2017


Congratulations, Springs Charter Schools Class of 2017!


Online graduation registration needs to be completed for all seniors; regardless of whether the student plans to attend the graduation ceremony. The deadline to complete the Graduation Registration Form is April 30, 2017.


Below is a reminder of the graduation ceremony details for those who will be attending:

Date: Saturday, June 17, 2017
Location: Murrieta Mesa High School, Football Stadium, 24801 Monroe Avenue, Murrieta, CA  92562 (look for the stadium lights and make your way to the field level)
Time: All graduates must arrive and be ready to rehearse no later than 3:00 pm
Ceremony: The ceremony will begin at promptly at 4:00 pm
Tickets: There are seats available for 2,500 in the stadium, so no tickets are necessary.
Families: Families WILL NOT be allowed to walk onto the field after the ceremony, and this will be strictly enforced by Murrieta Mesa High School staff/security. Please plan to meet your graduate on the upper plaza following the ceremony.
Dress Code: All students are expected to arrive in their caps and gowns. In keeping with the dignity of the occasion, please wear comfortable yet somewhat dressy clothing under your graduation gown.
Shoes: The track and field are artificial turf and NO stiletto heels will be permitted.  If you wear this type of shoe, you will be required to take them off before walking in the graduation ceremony.  This will be strictly enforced.
Additional Items: Do not bring a purse or any other items with you. They cannot be carried on the field and there is no place to securely store them during the ceremony.
Cap & Gown: All students are expected to wear a black cap and gown with a black tassel. Be sure to iron/steam the gown ahead of time (no one looks good in a wrinkled gown).
Sash: Each student will be loaned a sash to wear during the ceremony that represents the program in which the student has participated: Aviation Academy – green; Homeschool Program – purple; Renaissance Academy – red; Keys – burnt orange; Venture Online Academy – blue. If you would like to purchase your sash, please provide a check in the amount of $15 (payable to River Springs Charter School) to the Executive Office or bring the check with you to the ceremony.
Photos: There will be an official photographer at the ceremony taking pictures as students leave the stage. Please be sure that you have a photo release on file prior to June 1st so that you don’t miss out on this opportunity. Diploma: Your diploma will be issued and mailed once all graduation requirements are fulfilled and verified.

Graduates have worked hard to achieve this goal, and we want to make certain that each student has his or her “moment in the sun.” We request that each graduate, as well as family and friends, respect the dignity of the ceremony for all involved. Please be courteous to the other families/graduates by keeping conversation/applause during the ceremony to a minimum – we don’t want anyone to miss the calling of their graduate’s name. Additionally, please make every effort to stay for the entire ceremony as early departures can be very disruptive.
