Operations Technician II
I currently hold an AS Degree in Early Childhood Education. I have spent the last 30 years working in some area or another of education. I spent 10 years teaching Kindergarten and Second Grade in a private school. I have also worked as a Preschool Director. At this point in my life, I enjoy working part-time as a Librarian in the SCS Lending Library. I also work as a Library and Media Tech Assistant in the TVUSD. I have gone back to school to work towards my Library Tech certificate.
My favorite hobbies include cooking and photography. I enjoy taking classes to learn more about each hobby. I love taking photos of my family and cooking fun new dishes for family and friends.
My favorite books to read to my students were always “Charlotte’s Web” and “Charlie and the Chocolate Factory”. The books that I read now are mostly textbooks that I use in my college Library Tech courses.
My favorite subjects in school were always the fun ones like PE, Home Economics, and choir.
Well, I have 6 fun and crazy grandchildren, ranging from 5 months to 8 years of age. We love going to watch their soccer games on the weekends.
