Journey Education Specialist
I attended UC Irvine and graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in English. I earned my Single Subject Credential in English at Cal State San Marcos. I have always had a passion for teaching and working with young people and many of my experiences reflect this; I have worked as a dance teacher, resident advisor, tutor, and volunteered as a mentor to children of prisoners.
I enjoy many different kinds of music and love attending concerts with my husband, family, and friends whenever I get a chance. My husband, son, daughter, and I love to visit the library, read, spend time outdoors, and go on adventures together. We love visiting our country’s beautiful national parks every summer.

My favorite subject was, of course, English. I love to read.
– I have two pugs, one of which is a rescue pug, and I love them to bits.
– I walked the red carpet at the Academy Awards once.
– This is my dream job. I get to spend time with amazing kids at an incredible school.
