Stacia Arnold

Class of 2010

Graduated from Homeschool

Stacia Arnold, 23, of Ramona works in the equestrian industry. In her business, Stacia Arnold Equestrian Sports, she trains horses and teaches horseback riding to children. “It’s been fantastic,” she said. “Many of my students are actively competing in horse competitions.”
She also competes herself in Eventing horseback riding competitions, which includes dressage, cross-country and show jumping. She hopes to compete in a prestigious Rebecca Farm, Montana competition next summer.
Stacia began riding at age 4, and had her own pony at age 6. She started attending Springs’ schools in the 5th grade, which allowed her to work in the equestrian industry and compete. She remarked, “If I went to a traditional school, I wouldn’t have been able to be a student working in the industry and going to competitions. Going to Springs allowed me live my dream.” She graduated from Springs’ Renaissance Real World Academy in 2010. Her mother, Lynne Arnold, is site facilitator for Springs’ Keys College and Career Prep program.
On a typical day, Stacia arrives at the barn at 6 a.m. and spends 12 hours, or more, a day there. She said, “I eat, sleep and breathe this sport.”
