Education Specialist
I earned a BA in Liberal Studies with an emphasis in English from Azusa Pacific University where I also went on to complete my Multiple Subject teaching credential. Before coming to Springs, I spent six years as a middle school teacher, first in a Language Arts/Social Studies classroom for four years and then switching to a Math/Science rotation when I moved to Murrieta.
I love to read and play card and board games.
My all-time favorite novel is Gone With the Wind by Margaret Mitchell, but I confess to really enjoying the Harry Potter books by J.K. Rowling as well as Rick Riordan’s Percy Jackson series. I try to keep up with the books my late elementary/middle school students are reading. There is something special about connecting with a student over something we have both read.
I always loved my English classes.
I am a tried and true dog lover. (The bigger the better…)
