Education Specialist
I realized I wanted to work in education while volunteering in an elementary school during my years as an undergraduate at Santa Clara University. I taught for a combined 7 years in the Los Angeles Unified School District and Corona-Norco Unified School District. I received my Master’s in Teaching from National University in 2004.
I love reading, baking, hiking, and spending time with my family.
I enjoy so many different types of books. Some of my favorites are The Giver, The Secret Life of Bees, Tuesdays With Morrie, A Thousand Splendid Suns, To Kill a Mockingbird, and A Long Way Gone.
Science. From social science to physics, everything about it fascinates me.
I was born on Father’s Day. My husband and I honeymooned in Scotland. I owned a Curves franchise for 3 years.
