Assistive Technology Specialist

In 2011, I graduated from CSU Long Beach with a B.A. degree in Communicative Disorders. In 2012, I completed my Assistive Technology Specialist Certificate program from CSU Dominguez Hills. Then in 2015, I graduated with my M.S. degree in Assistive Technology and Human Services. While working on my education, I worked as a Speech Language Pathology Assistant and Assistive Technology support staff.

Favorite Hobbies

I enjoy country music concerts, scuba diving, and traveling the world. My husband and I take advantage of his frequent flyer miles from work, and travel during my time off throughout the year.

Favorite Books

Between college, work, and traveling, I have stayed very busy and couldn’t tell you the last book I read for fun.

Favorite Subject

In high school, it was definitely music/choir. While that stayed true in college also, speech and language pathology became a close second. During my undergrad I took an AAC class that introduced me to the technology side of speech therapy and I was hooked!

Fun Facts

I enjoy puzzles and games that really make you think.
