Online Teacher
I graduated from UC Riverside with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Liberal Studies, with a major emphasis in Spanish and a minor in Education. I then attended Pepperdine University and received a Master of Arts in Education, and a Multiple Subject teaching credential with a CLAD. I taught in the traditional classroom for 10 years in Thousand Oaks, CA.
I enjoy running/exercising, shopping, reading, taking pictures, going to the beach, baking, working/teaching with kids, playing with my kids, watching my kids in sporting activities!
I enjoy most realistic fiction books, romance novels, and I loved the Hunger Games series. This summer I enjoyed reading and discussing Wonder and Star Girl with my daughter.
I enjoy getting the correct answer in math, but reading and writing are my stronger subject areas.
I ran an LA marathon and studied abroad in Mexico for a summer, living with a host family. I hiked to the top of Half Dome in Yosemite, and my husband proposed to me at the top! I enjoy digital scrapbooking; I make a 100 page family book every year!
