Academy Teacher
I have my Bachelor’s degree from Cal State University, San Bernardino in Liberal Studies, where I also earned my Multiple Subject Credential. I worked for Jurupa Unified School District for five years as a fourth grade teacher and a Reading Specialist before returning to CSUSB to earn my Masters of Education in Reading.
I love to read. I also enjoy sewing and being with my family.
My all time favorite books are Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen and Jane Eyre by Charlotte Bronte. I love to read historical fiction. Michelle Moran is a great author in that genre.
My favorite subject was Math. I loved math. I thought I was very good at it until I went to college and found that I did significantly better in Reading subjects.
Some fun facts about me is I played Varsity basketball and I was on the competitive dance team in high school. I love animals. I had animals in everything you can think of, mainly cats and dogs. I love to sing.
