Assistant Superintendent, Administrative Operations
I began working in K-12 education in 1997. After teaching in traditional public schools for a couple of years, I found my way to the Independent Study program. The charter world was evolutionary then, and I began on this venture in 2000. Since being with the charter, I have worked as an Education Specialist (ES), ES Trainer, ES Advisor, WASC Chairperson, Director of Student Services, Senior Director of Business and Administrative Operations, and now hold the position of Chief Administrative Officer. I hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science, Certification in Legal Studies, a Secondary Credential, an Administrative Credential, CBO certification (coursework), and I recently completed my Masters in Leadership.
I love to read, watch sports, and spend time with my family.
My favorite “fun” author is Danielle Steele.
In school I loved anything to do with law.
I have two children who are involved in year-round sports, so you will often find me on the sidelines cheering for them. I excel in organization and efficiency which serves me well in this position.
