Hemet Quest Students Improve in Math

January 2, 2024

The Hemet Quest Student Center 1st grade class of teacher Hermelinda Scates and ACE Stephanie Duarte achieved 25% growth on ST Math in one month, reported Principal Eric Ballard. Additionally, the 5th grade class of Catrina Godina and ACE Carolina Astorga made 22% growth on ST Math in one month. Both winning classes get to take Big Jiji, the large staff penguin, back to their class for the month, he added.

Hemet Quest Pep Rally, New Turf

September 20, 2023

Principal Eric Ballard reports that the Hemet Quest Student Center held its first pep rally, with the 1st and 3rd grades winning the Spirit Award for the month. He also noted that students were making good use of the new turf installed on the grounds over the summer.

This year, the school is serving 570 students in grades TK-5.

Hemet Quest Multi-Purpose Room, Turf

Springs’ Hemet Quest Student Center has begun converting a dance studio into a multi-purpose room (MPR). The space is “much needed,” reported Principal Eric Ballard, “as we do not have a spot for events or students to eat lunch when it rains or if it is too hot.”

Galilee Holmes, 11, a 5th grade student from Springs’ Hemet Quest Student Center, is the March 2023 Student Artist of the Month. She lives in Hemet. Her artwork is entitled The Greatest School on Earth: Where Everyone Belongs.

Hemet Quest World Wide Day of Play

March 2, 2022

Spring’ Hemet Quest Student Center participated in the World Wide Day of Play, shared Tiffany Jones, the site facilitator. Students enjoyed such activities as a dance party, arts and crafts table, hula hoop passing, relay race, obstacle course and tennis ball toss.
