ORAA Welcomes 1st Grade Substitute “Zoophonia”

Otay Ranch Academy for the Arts (ORAA) 1st-grade teacher Jeannette Fetterhoff has created a “Zoophonics,” phonics program to teach reading to her students. She created the character “Zoophonia,” the keeper at the phonics zoo, as a creative and entertaining way to teach students, portraying her with an accent, wig, and costume. Continue reading

PSAT for Sophomores and Juniors

Springs Charter School will be offering the PSAT at several locations this year on October 11th, 2017 at 9:00am. Students can register for the PSAT by clicking on the following link HERE – or by calling the Guidance Department at (951) 252-8833.  The last day to register is Friday, October 6th.

Springs Alumnus Helps in Hurricane Harvey Cleanup

Carter Low, 19, a 2016 graduate of Springs’ KEYS program, is in Houston helping residents recover from Hurricane Harvey, which devastated the region. Carter went to Houston on a Mormon mission, and joined with his fellow missionaries to help with the cleanup. Continue reading
