Jacqueline Garcia, age 11, is a 7th grader with the Orange County Quest Academy. She lives in Santa Ana, and is beginning her 3rd year with Springs.
She has an interest in culture and religion, and wants to be a theologian when she grows up.
The individualized learning at Springs “definitely works” for her, she said, and the Quest staff is “helpful in many ways.” Although she is able to work at her own pace, she likes to try to work ahead.
Her other interests include drawing, guitar, music theory and singing. She likes the band Imagine Dragons and Harry Potter books. In fact, she owns all the Harry Potter movies and collects Harry Potter merchandise.
